Oxford Medical Diagnostics is currently developing a first generation OMD Breath AnalyserTM which applies proprietary Cavity Enhanced Absorption Spectroscopy technology to the quantitative detection of acetone in human breath. Initial applications will centre on the rapid, cost-effective, and reliable non-invasive monitoring for Type 1 diabetes.
